The challenge: getting IT and Finance to speak the same language
In a large banking group, IT, Data, and AI teams design the systems that support Finance, Risk, and Reporting functions — but often operate without a deep understanding of the business challenges they are addressing. The result: credit and risk projects that take a long time to be delivered, poorly defined specifications, technical choices disconnected from regulatory constraints, and recurrent misunderstandings between Finance and IT.
The objective was not to teach technical skills to technicians, but to provide them with the vocabulary, challenges, and business constraints of corporate credit — so they could become credible partners for the Finance and Risk teams.

Our approach: a 4-day program, designed for technical profiles
Prime Analytics designed a 4-day Finance Credit training program, structured around four thematic modules:
1. Understanding Corporate Credit
Lifecycle, stakeholders, financing structure, regulatory constraints.
2. Financial Analysis & Credit Pricing
Financial statement analysis, scoring, pricing, margins, expected risk.
3. Security & Capital Markets
Guarantees, collateral, security, market instruments.
4. Credit Chain & Banking Systems
IT architecture, data flows, operational and regulatory constraints.
Before / After
The training transformed the relationship between IT/Data teams and Finance/Risk functions by establishing a common language and a shared understanding of the challenges. The contrast between the historical chain and the industrialized chain illustrates the extent of the transformation, carried out in less than 10 weeks.
• Business Understanding : moved from an abstract technical vision to an operational mastery of corporate credit, business language, and regulatory constraints. went from 6 man-days to by report and by entity — a production ratio divided by 50.
• Design Capability : moved from technical teams awaiting specifications to profiles capable of proposing, integrating, and maintaining corporate credit systems effectively.
• Project Quality : moved from permanent friction between business and IT to a smoother collaboration, with fewer back-and-forths and better-calibrated deliverables.
• Team Autonomy : moved from a strong reliance on business experts to technical teams able to guide their own choices on credit and risk issues.
— When IT speaks Finance, projects accelerate.
Our Finance, Risk, and Regulatory training programs are designed for IT, Data, and AI professionals — bilingual FR/EN, Qualiopi certified, OPCO eligible for funding.
Practitioner consultants, real-world case studies, practical skill development.
An internal standard for IT-Business alignment
Over 300 IT, Data, and AI employees have completed the Finance Credit program. The 4-day program, available in both French and English, covered the fundamentals of corporate credit, financial analysis, collateralization, and banking system architecture.
Beyond the number of employees trained, the impact is measured in the quality of credit and risk projects. Technical teams now know how to interpret business challenges, communicate with Finance and Risk teams using a common language, and guide their technical choices in line with regulatory constraints.
The program has become an internal standard for upskilling new hires and developing existing teams — proving that beyond a one-off session, a sustainable IT-Business alignment approach has been established.
When technical teams understand the business, projects accelerate and quality improves.“With Prime Analytics, we were able to get this project up and running in just a few days. Their knowledge of Alteryx and their technical expertise allowed us to move quickly and obtain greater precision than we expected. This model has made us gain in reliability, speed and autonomy.”
