The challenge: transitioning from pilot to enterprise-wide analytical infrastructure
When a universal bank adopts Alteryx to transform its analytical processes, the challenge isn't the technology — it's the scale of change to orchestrate. How do you transition from a pilot deployment in a single Finance team to native use by hundreds of employees across multiple functions and geographies?
For this major banking group, the objective was threefold: to maintain the level of expertise as the community expands, to ensure the quality and traceability of workflows deployed in production, and to establish shared governance — without stifling the momentum of business adoption.
Our approach: deploy, structure, engage
Prime Analytics supported the client through four phases, all structured around the same logic:
1. Phased Rollout (2019-2020)
First Designer licenses in the Finance Department, followed by Alteryx Server deployment by the end of 2020.
2. Industrialization and Training (2020-2021)
Structuring of the first large-scale use cases, training of Finance teams, reproducible automation processes.
3. Community Engagement (2021-2022)
Creation of an internal analytics community, training of key knowledge holders, sharing of best practices among teams.
4. Center of Excellence (2022-2024)
Institutionalization through an international Operational Excellence Center, serving as a reference within the group.

After five years, over 700 Alteryx users are operating on critical banking use cases, covering Financial Management, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, and Compliance. The deployment was carried out in successive phases, at a pace aligned with team maturity.
Beyond the number of licenses, what has taken hold is a new way of working with data. Business teams design their own workflows, share best practices within the analytics community, and benefit from centralized support via the Operational Center of Excellence.
The Center of Excellence is now a benchmark within the group, extending its practices to new functions and geographies — proof that beyond the initial deployment, a sustainable transformation of practices has taken hold.
